In December of 2002 the first 17 counties of the 1910 Washington State census index were completed by the Washington State Genealogical Society and placed online at this site, free to the public. Over the next few years counties were added as they were completed.

In October of 2005 the 1910 census Index was finished for all counties. It was moved from the WAGenWeb site to the Washington Secretary of State Site and made accessible through their "Historical Records Search". In December of 2005 the Secretary of State site search engine was upgraded and the site renamed to "The Washington State Digital Archives".

The Washington USGenWeb Project is proud to have played a small part in this effort. We wish to thank the Washington State Genealogical Society and the many volunteers who spent countless hours compiling the 1910 Washington Census Index.
