THE COMPANY WHICH IS GOING TO IRRIGATE THE GREAT LEWISTON FLAT, IS REGULARLY INCORPORATED WITH HEADQUARTERS IN ASOTIN. THE NAME OF THE ORGANIZATION IS THE LEWISTON WATER AND POWER CO.
THE OFFICERS ARE
E.H. LIBBY,PRESIDENT;
C.U. VAN ARSDEL, VICE-PRESIDENT AND SECRETARY
DR. J.B.MORRIS,TREASURER.
THE OTHER DIRECTORS NAMED ARE
GEORGE W. BAILEY OF ASOTIN
J.D. POST OF SPOKANE .
IT IS THE INTENTION TO PROCEED AT ONCE WITH THE ROUTINE BUSINESS AND TO ACTIVELY BEGIN WORK,
AS SOON AS THE WINTER BEGINS TO WANE AND THE DAYS GET LONGER.

THE WORK ON THE DAMS AND THE HEADGATES WILL BE STARTED SOON AFTER THE FIRST OF THE YEAR AND THE ACTIVE OPERATIONS WILL FOLLOW AS SOON AS THE PROSPECT IS FAVORABLE FOR EFFECTIVE OPERATIONS.
MR. LIBBY WILL GO EAST TO PERFECT THE ARRANGEMENTS AT THE MONEY END OF THE LINE.
THEIR IS NO LONGER DOUBT ABOUT THE EARLY COMPLETION OF THE GREAT WORK.
THE PARTIES INTERESTED ARE IN POSITION TO CONTROL UNLIMITED WEALTH AND THE FACT THAT A LARGE SUM OF MONEY HAS ALREADY BEEN ADVANCED IS AN ASSURANCE OF THE EARNESTNESS OF THE INCORPORATION.
