LEROY:

My grandmother's grandparents, Gilbert Dean and Elizabeth Zeta Leroy, were supposedly married in Westport in 1897. They had a daughter, Dorothy, born on Jul 9, 1904, probably in Westport as well. I have reason to believe that Gilbert's father owned a house in Westport. If anyone knows anything about these people or might be able to look these events up in a local newspaper, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.

LEWIS:

I am trying to locate NICHOLAS LEWIS, born about 1881 in Washington State, possibly Thurston Co. He was living in Taholah, Grays Harbor Co., in Oct. 1940. If he died and was buried in the area, what funeral home and cemetery would have been the likely choice and would they still be in business?

LEWIS:

I have an old photograph taken ca 1900/05 in Elma, Grays Harbor Co. of the Lewis Bros. Grocery with several people in front of the store. My ggrandfather Jasper M. LEWIS b. 1850 in Ill. and his brother William Harding LEWIS b. 1847 Ill., probably are the Lewis Bros. Jasper was married to Eliza Smith in Illinois in 1872. He died in Elma Mar 29, 1915 and is buried in Elma. William Harding Lewis married Annie Puddock 1866 probably in Illinois. Jasper and William's sister Eliza E. b. ca 1838 married a STAMPER, she also came from Illinois to Elma and died there. I would like info on this Lewis Bros Grocery and descendants of William Harding Lewis and Eliza Stamper.

LIEDS:

I am looking for background information on the LIEDES family. My name is Velma Jean (Liedes) Cole. I was born in Aberdeen, WA and my father Elmer Liedes was also born there and died in Aberdeen along with his 3 brothers, Einar, Art and Henry. My Uncle Art disappeared and they never found him. My grandparents Sophia Liedes and Henry Liedes both died there. They came to American when very young from Finland. I have very little family history and am doing a Family Tree, Genealogy for my children and grandchildren. I am trying to find out my Grandmother's Maiden name and what city she was born in (in Finland) AND I would also like to find out what city in Finland my grandfather, Henry Liedes was born in. Do you have any marriage certificates or death certificates for them that would give that information? I couldn't even find a death index reference for my Grandfather, Henry Liedes. He had a son, Hank Liedes and I know both of them died in Aberdeen and were buried there. (The cemetery upon on the hill in East Aberdeen. ) Can you help me. Thanks for any leads you can give me, as I would like to search in Finland for their ancestors. Would marriage certificate information way back when they got married be available anyplace. My grandmother was born in Sept. 22, 1882 according to the Death Index and died September 16, 1966. My father, Elmer Liedes was born in Aberdeen on June 10, 1911 and died there in May of 1980.

LUND:

I'm trying to trace this man: Andreas Olai Frimanslund, born Aug.28, 1877 in Norway, emigrated to USA and was known under the name Andrew Lund. His sister Helene died in 1949, and her obit.says that she had one brother, Andrew, living in Aberdeen at that time, 72 years old. Do you have any idea where to look to find his date of death? From Norwegian relatives I've been told that he had a son Martin, born 1905-1915?, that is all I know about descendants.

LUNDY:

I am seeking information on the following family. Charlotte "Lottie" LUNDY was born between 1869-1875 in either Canada West (Ontario) or possibly Kansas. In 1899 she married Heber WHITE in Walla Walla, Walla Walla Co., WA. The only thing else known about her is that she may have died in 1940 in Aberdeen, Grays Harbor Co., WA. All her LUNDY relatives in Walla Walla County want to know about her and her descendants. She is the sister of my 2ggf, William John LUNDY, and I want to get in touch with the descendants of her and her husband Heber WHITE.
