PERKINS:

I am seeking any information anyone can provide me, regarding the family of George Washington PERKINS,born April 6, 1857 in Jefferson County,NY; and last known to be in Spokane or Seattle Counties. George and the family were from Michigan, where he married a woman named Emma (sorry no maiden name yet)born in Michigan in August 1869. They had a daughter named Bessie Perkins STEVENS born Oct.1887 in Michigan, and a son George PERKINS, born May 1899 in Washington (no county yet). According to the 1880 census they were living in Chelan County, WA. By the 1920 census, George was living alone on Olympic Street in Spokane. I believe he passed away in the 30s or 40s like the rest of his family. I have an old address for George, but I don't know the year. I estimate it was in the 20s-30s; "1515 BELMONT ST. SEATTLE, WA." Bessie married and with the last name STEVENS, her last known address was "212 E. CEDAR STREET, ABERDEEN, WA."

I am seeking any information anyone can help me with regarding George Perkins who may have moved between Elma and Aberdeen. George was a Michigan transplant around the turn of the century. His parents were Nathaniel and Martha (Dorchester) Perkins. George was born in Jefferson County, New York on April 12, 1857. He had siblings named: Hattie (Perkins) Fovelle 10-8-1849, Emma (Perkins) Lunney 12-30-1854, Caroline "Carrie" (Perkins) Warner 7-18-1851 >my grandmother< , Kate (Perkins) Chambers? 3-13-1855, Jackson 9-19-1859, Chloe 4-25, 1863-1906, and Bertha (Perkins) Garvey 8-29-1865.

One definite Aberdeen connection was "Bessie Stevens/Stephens"(?) who lived at 212 E. Cedar Street, Aberdeen. I don't know if Stevens' was her maiden or married name and I do not know her connection to my family. I have a photograph of a brown haired woman with a blond female child that was taken in the "Finch Photographic Studio" in Aberdeen. I estimate the photo was taken around the 1890s-1900. If I had a way to post the photo on a genealogical site in the Aberdeen area I would.
