|History||Originally a burial place for loggers who worked for Herbert Gardner.
Donated to the Rhodendron Grange in 1966, by Rex McInnis, who bought the Gardner farm.
|Notes||Burials limited to: descendents of people buried there, Grange Members, and Gardiner
residents who have reserved a plot.
The Post office changed the spelling to Gardiner because there was already a Gardner in the in the state.
Local residents have opted to go ahead with a proposal to form a Cemetery District which would own the cemetery and be responsible for expenses such as lawn care. [added 24 March 2006]
The Cemetery District was approved and commisioners elected during the 2006 general election [added 8 February 2007]
