Frederick Sparrenberger

Masonic services for Dr. Frederick H. Sparrenberger, 84, retired Army Medical Corps major, will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow in the Bonney-Watson Chapel.

Entombment will be in Acacia.

Dr. Sparrenberger died Saturday in a hospital after a long illness. He had lived in the Arctice Club for many years.

Dr. Sparrenberger had been a Seattle resident since 1931, when he retired from the Army after 31 years' service. He sailed as a ship's doctor for several years out of Seattle.

A native of Iowa, Dr. Sparrenberger was graduated from the University of the South at Sewanee, Tenn, and the Medical School of Columbia University.

Dr. Sparrenberger was a member of Fortson-Thygesen Camp No. 2, United Spanish War Veterans; Seattle Post No. 1, American Legion, and was a life member of Summit Lodge No. 497, F. & A. M., Sewanee; York Rite bodies, Passaic, N. J., and Mecca Temple of the Shrine, New York City. He also was a member of the Elks Lodge at Passaic.

Surviving is a cousin, Mrs. Bertha Gruener, Clifton, N. J.
