Obituaries

Arthur H. Gould Taken By Death

Private funeral services for Arthur H. Gould, 87 years old, of 420 West Mercer Street, will be held at 1 o’clock Friday in the Butterworth Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant. He died Monday.

Mr. Gould, born in Bangor, Maine, had lived here 50 years. He was a retired lumberman former owner of the Gould Lumber Company, now the United States Plywood Corporation. He was Chairman of the Board of the plywood corporation until his retirement ten years ago.

Surviving are his widow, Julia; a daughter in law, Mrs. Irene M. Bandy and a nephew, Carl S. Cady, all of Seattle.
