Mrs. Drusy O’Neil, 77, Taken by Death

Mrs. Drusy O’Neil, 77 year old widow of John Adams O’Neil, pioneer Puget Sound steamboat engineer, died yesterday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Butterworth Chapel. Mrs. O’Neil came to Seattle more than fifty years ago from Kentucky.

Mrs. O’Neil resided at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Fred Archer, 3308 34th Avenue South. Two other daughters survive her, Mrs. Carl Hanningbrink of Ohop, in Pierce County and Mrs. E.J. Grindod of Nelson, British Columbia.

The Rev. Dr. John B.Magee, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Washelli.

Funerals

O’Neil. Services for Drusy O’Neil of 1723 Yesler Way will take place from the Butterworth Mortuary Wednesday at 2PM. All friends invited. Committal Washelli.
