Funeral Of Mother Of Mayor’s Secretary

Mrs. Margaret E. Crehan, Who Died While on Visit to Son in Seattle, Buried Here Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret E. Crehan, 68 years old, who died in this city last Tuesday while visiting her son, James Crehan, secretary to Mayor H.C. Gill, were held yesterday from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Father Heelan officiating. Interment followed at Calvary.

Mrs. Crehan was a native of Boston, where she was born in 1847. For the last forty five years she has made her home at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to which city she expected to return after visiting her son in Seattle. She was preparing to celebrate her golden wedding anniversary this year.

Besides her son, James Crehan, Mrs. Crehan is survived by her husband, Michael Crehan, who holds a public position at Pittsburgh and two sons and a daughter, residing in the East.
