Mrs. Parker of Pioneer Kitsap Family Expires

Mrs. Olive E. Parker, wife of John K. Parker, Seattle druggist and member of a pioneer Kitsap County family, died yesterday at her home, 3002 Fuhrman Avenue.

Mrs. Parker was born January 5, 1880, in Little Falls, Minnesota, a daughter of the late Samuel Gorst, Bremerton pioneer. Mrs. Parker was secretary to former Mayor Hiram C. Gill before he became Mayor. She was married to Mr. Parker in 1907.

Surviving besides her husband are two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Duff and Mrs. Pearl Bergin, Seattle; three brothers, Clarence and Clinton Gorst, Seattle and Howard Gorst, Bremerton. She was a cousin of Vernon Gorst, the flyer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 o’clock Monday at the Mittelstadt Funeral Parlors. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Bremerton.
