Robert T. McKinney Funeral Set

Funeral services for Robert T. McKinney 60, of 3200 44th Avenue Southwest, will be at 10 o’clock tomorrow in the West Side Presbyterian Church. Cremation will follow, under the direction of the Howden Kennedy Funeral Home. He died Tuesday in a hospital.

Born in Chatham, New Brunswick, Mr. McKinney came to Seattle in 1919 from Vancouver, British Columbia. From 1922 until this year he was employed by the Westinghouse Electric Corp. In 1962, He was transferred to Chicago by the firm.

Returning to Seattle this year, Mr. McKinney was employed as an engineer by the Puget Sound Bridge & Dry Dock Corp.

A Deacon of the Presbyterian Church of Berwyn, Illinois, Mr. McKinney was a member of the Westside Presbyterian Church Choir 15 years. He was past Master of Rose Croix Scottish Rite; a 32nd degree Mason, a past West Seattle District Chairman, Boy Scouts and a member of the Professional Engineers of the State of Washington; Alki Lodge No. 152, Free & Accepted Masons and the 34th District Republican Club.

Mr. McKinney was a candidate for the Legislature from the 34th District in 1960.

Surviving are his wife, Elinor; two sons, Larry D., Seattle and Edwin C. McKinney, Renton; a daughter, Roberta E. McKinney, Seattle and three grandchildren.
