William John Browne

Rosary for William John Browne, 79, a Seattle resident 31 years, will be said at 7 o’clock tomorrow night in the Joseph R. Manning & Sons Chapel. Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 o’clock Friday in the Church of the Assumption. Burial will be in Calvary.

Mr. Browne died Sunday. He was in the wholesale and retail grocery business here before his retirement.

Mr. Browne, 7047 17th Avenue Northeast, was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. For many years he was a merchant in Wilbur, Lincoln County. He was a member of the Holy Name Society.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine M.; a son, Byron E. Browne, Seattle; three daughters, Catherine C. and Helene J. Browne, both of Seattle and Mrs. Delbert P. Talkington, Pomeroy; two granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
