James P. Colleary was born on November 18, 1936 in Canada. He married Helen M Carr on January 4, 1870 in Worcester, Massachusetts.
After a few years in California, they pioneered in Pleasant Valley in 1879. They had seven children. James passed away April 18, 1901. His widow was married in 1918 to Thomas C. Flannery.

Helen M [Carr-Colleary] Flannary was born on January 1, 1845 in Quebec, Canada to Ann [Mulloy] and Peter Carr. She immigrated to the United States and married James P. Colleary in Worcester,
Massachusetts on January 4, 1870. After a few years in California, the Colleary family pioneered in Pleasant Valley, Klickitat County in 1879. They had seven children. Her husband James
died in 1901 and Helen moved into Goldendale. She married Thomas C. Flannary on July 27, 1918 in Vancouver, Clarke, WA. Helen passed away of pneumonia at home in Goldendale on December 20, 1924.
