Adam Jefferson Nelson

"Adam Jefferson Nelson was born in Washington County, Oregon, August 4, 1863, and came to Goldendale August 7, 1877, where he lived on a farm for several years, later moving into Goldendale, and for the past 13 years he has been the sexton and caretaker of the local cemetery. The day before he passed away he was attending to his duties, having dug a grave.
