RIVERVIEW  CEMETERY
(aka Old Northport Cemetery)

This information for a long forgotten cemetery situated on private property
just south of Northport in Sec 7 T39N R40E (near the Columbia River-Roosevelt 
Lake), was found in an issue of the Northport newspaper.  As you can see from
the dates, it was in use only a short time – 1899 to 1903 and then one lone 
burial in 1926.  This cemetery was not included in our rural cemetery book 
that NeWGS published in 1989.

The Northport Historical Society did some cleanup at the cemetery in 2006 and
