Mr. Licari Weds Irene Lagervall Miss Irene LAGERVALL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter NIELSEN of Yakima, became the bride of Joseph G. LICARI, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew LICARI of Biwabik, Minn., yesterday at a ceremony performed at 2:30 o'clock in the home of Mr. and Mrs. William OLOFSON of Yakima. Mrs. Olofson was bridesmaid and Mayor Frank LAGERVALL of Zillah was best man. The bride wore a pastel blue dress with a veil caught to a wreath of flowering quince. Her corsage was of the same blossoms. Mrs. Olofson's suit was blue and gold. She wore a daffodil corsage. The Rev. Roland SWANSON read the double-ring ceremony before an improvised alter banked with spring flowers. Little Dorothy OLOFSON was flower girl. Mrs. Otto LAGERVALL played the wedding march. A reception followed. Mrs. Olofson poured and the bride and groom cut the cake. On the reviewing stand were two silver star wearers, Pvt. William ARQUETTE of Yakima and Randall J. PEAVEY of Tacoma. At Fort Lewis a parade of 1300 soldiers from the basic training section was reviewed by Brig. Gen. John F. CONKLIN. He presented a long list of awards to service men. Yakima Indian Group Asks For Legislation Four Yakima Indians met yesterday with Senator MITCHELL in Washington, D.C., to ask legislation to limit distribution of approximately $20,000,000 in tribal funds to persons of not less than one-fourth Indian blood. Under present laws, a person with one-thirty-second of Indian blood, enrolled as a tribe member, can marry a non-Indian and list his children as tribesmen, said Thomas YALLUP, leader of the Yakima delegation. With YALLUP are Eagel SEELATSEE, Louis So-HAPPY and Alex SALUSKIN. Certificates Paid All irrigation certificates of sale issued to individuals have been paid by the property owners, County Treasurer C.S. COLE reported. This is the first time in the history of the office property owners have redeemed all of the quantities of irrigation certificates brought up by individuals. The certificates in the January public auction all went to the districts. Miss Siegel Honored Naches, April 6 -- Miss Helen SIEGEL, who arrived today by plane from Seattle for a week's visit in Naches, was honored tonight with a potluck dinner and part in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey H. BAKER. Fourteen guests were present, Miss SIEGEL, who has visited for the past several summers in this community, is a guest in the home of her brother in law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Walter ALLAN. She is survived by her husband, Arley, and two brothers, Henry and Roy GOLDSMITH, all of Yakima; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie MEYERS and Mrs. Genevieve POPENHAGEN of Yakima, and Mrs. Roxe Rose MacMILLAN of Bremerton; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. L.G. The accident occurred at 7:35 o'clock as the parade traveled north on North Front street when a car driven by James KLOUSE attempted to pass the parade. Klouse said that his car was crowded into the police car by an oncoming machine. WYATT'S plan for "government-guaranteed markets" to encourage production of factory made dwellings. The indorsement announced in a statement by Dawson WINN, President of the Prefabricated Home Manufacturers Institute, was hailed by federal housing officials as a strategic gain for President TRUMAN'S emergency housing program.
