Clara entered the U.S. on September 17, 1923, arriving in Seattle on a ship named Melita, along with her friend Lucy. Clara was listed as a cook. She filed a Declaration of Intention to become a naturalized citizen of the U.S. on March 14, 1923. Clara passed away at the age of 71 on August 6, 1955 in Goldendale. She is buried on 4th Street Lot 11 next to her friend (also born in London, England) Lucy Leatherby. His endeavours included mining and carriage building in California. He came north to Portland in 1860, and served in the 1st Oregon Cavalry where he fought the Indians. He was married to Nancy Jane [Colvin], the widow of Charles Marshall on March 16, 1869, and the Carwell family came to Goldendale in 1879, where Mr. Carwell became a prominent part of the industrial development of Klickitat County. Phillip passed away on March 7, 1896 of neuralgic heart disease.

Cochran. Minnie died on June 4, 1897.   He married Mrs. Mahala [Dowding] Allison on September 20, 1900. Mahala died in 1931.   Fred subsequently married Lillian L. Califf in Goldendale on January 6, 1936.   On November 5, 1940 at the age of 83, Fred passed away in Goldendale. He is buried in Plot: Block Section 040 Lot 5.

Gravestone   History of North Idaho: Richard & Lodema Cooper   Richard Pierce Cooper was born in Kentucky on April 15, 1841 to Cynthia [Moupin] and Covington Cooper. Richard's parents moved to Missouri when he was about two years old, and then brought their family west to California in 1954. Richard moved north to Idaho to seek his fortunes in gold. He then took up sheep ranching and became quite properous with his sheep and farming. Richard married Lodema [Church] on August 7, 1888 in Cottonwood, Bannock County, Idaho.   The Cooper family had six children, including Mathilda, Mary, Benjamin, Ida, Peter and Matie (Della).   By the 1910 census, Richard and Lodema were living in Klickitat County, Washington. Richard passed away in Goldendale on February 5, 1932. Lodema died in 1940. They are buried in Plot: Block Section 171 Lot 5.

Curtis in Petersburg, Michigan. Roy (as he was commonly known) was married to Etta Isabelle [Allen] on December 10, 1910. He and his wife Belle lived in Wishram where LeRoy helped build the S.P. & S. Railway.
