Dr. G.W. Haynie almost recovered but wife still ill.

Mrs. F.H. Madison of Spokane in town “selling mining stock.”

Anthony Dean says prospects for crops on Poverty Flat good.

J.H. Jobson to Spokane to work in the yards.

J.P. Hubrick to Schaffer ranch on the Snake River with Mr. Schaffer and Mr. Seaman.

J.W. O’Keef’s pumping plant on Snake River now in operation.

W.K. Evans, formerly of Kennewick, working in a creamery.

Dr. CA.A. Cantonwine, former valley resident, died 23 March, aged 83, at Twalatin OR.


WALLULA

Conductor Fletcher and Engineer Nelson, of the hunt road, have moved their families to Pendleton.

During high water on the Columbia River: Mr. Knapp caught a water wheel and pump, caused Uncle John Findley to sit up with his bees, and broke Capt. Fendell’s pleasure boat from its mooring.


KIONA

Mr. McNabb is superintendent of the Sabbath school.

Mr. Rolph is quite wick with pneumonia.

Billy Kincard going east with a carload of horses.

Mr. Kennedy, from the Lower Yakima, has bought the old place belonging to W.C. Neil and will live there.

Mrs. Chisholm’s mother and Miss Jessie Rolph to leave for California.

Miss Winfred Payton visited her mother Sunday.
