Roy 'Pat' Irwin, 76, Pasco died Tuesday at his home. He was born in Blaine and lived in the Tri-Cities since 1979. He was a park ranger for Washington State Parks. Greenlee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Edwin B. Ides, 79, a retired maintenance foreman who resided at 1311 Stevens Drive, Richland, died Friday at Kadlec Hospital. Born Aug. 7, 1892 at Grand Ledge, Mich., he had lived here 28 years. Mr. Ides was a construction foreman at Hanford in 1943. He was a member of Christ the King Church, American Bowling Congress and Richland Bowling Assocation. He was a past commander of VFW Post 7952 and past president of local 984 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He served in the Army in World War I. Survivors include his wife Germaine; daughters Mr. H.W. DeHaven of Kennewick and Mrs. Ken Sandlin of Las Cruces, N.M.; brother Benjamin H. of Kaukauna, Wis., and Dave of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Rosary will be at 9 p.m. Monday at Einan's Funeral Home, Richland; and Requiem Mass at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Christ the King Church with the Rev. Sean McManamon officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Richland. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-8 p.m. today and all day Monday.
